The 78-year-old master has given exclusive access to never before seen photos of his workshop and school as The Parnham Trust celebrates 40 years of excellence. The Queen’s nephew and 18th in line to the throne Lord Snowden was among hundreds of former students who paid tribute to the world-famous designer. Many of Mr Makepeace’s alumni are high end designers who have gone on to work on the 787 dreamliner, luxury yachts, John Lewis and Daimler after being taught by top craftsmen at his exclusive academy.
